This course is for new students who want to learn and master the fundamentals of dancing New York Style Salsa On2. Consistency is key to ensure you are confident on the dance floor!
We will cover basic steps & turns, timing & musicality, balance & weight change and arm styling. Once you've completed this cycle you will be prepared to take on any class or social.
"Salsa Level 1" is the next level and for students with a strong Fundamental foundation of Salsa or have completed at least one or two cycles of "Intro to Salsa". We highly suggest two cycles to be confident in your dancing.

Do I need to bring a partner?
You do not need to bring a partner. You will partner up during class and we rotate partners often.
Do I need special shoes?
Beginners can start with street shoes or dress shoes that have ankle-straps (support) with medium-height heels or any flat-bottom shoes or regular dancing shoes. Avoid wearing shoes that have thick rubber soles such as sneakers, clogs, boots or flip-flops.
I can't make it to my class, can I switch days?
Yes - Wednesdays and Saturdays teach the same content within the same week. If you need to swap a class - please message us and let us know to update your reservation.
Can I use my purchased package next cycle?
All sales are non-refundable. You must complete use all 4 classes in the current cycle. It cannot be used or extended for future workshops/cycles. It cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
