Level 1
In this next-level course, we begin exploring the creative side of Salsa On2 with more intricate shines, partnerwork, and technique.
You’ll build on your foundation with traveling turns (inside and outside), footwork variations, and deeper partner connection. We’ll continue refining your timing, styling, and body movement—giving you more tools to express yourself confidently on the social dance floor.
Prerequisite:
Completion of at least two cycles of Salsa Basics
or a solid foundation in NY Style Salsa On2 fundamentals.
By the end of this course, you’ll be well-prepared to step into Mastering the Fundamentals (Level 2) where we focus on combining technique, flow, and musicality at a more advanced level.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring a partner?
You do not need to bring a partner. You will partner up during class and we rotate partners often.
Do I need special shoes?
Beginners can start with street shoes or dress shoes that have ankle-straps (support) with medium-height heels or any flat-bottom shoes or regular dancing shoes. Avoid wearing shoes that have thick rubber soles such as sneakers, clogs, boots or flip-flops.
I can't make it to my class, can I switch days?
Yes - Wednesdays and Saturdays teach the same content within the same week. If you need to swap a class - please message us and let us know to update your reservation.
Can I use my purchased package next cycle?
All sales are non-refundable. You must complete use all 4 classes in the current cycle. It cannot be used or extended for future workshops/cycles. It cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
